People say they like me and that they really care but when there needed mostly they are never there

they say you can always count on me when u need a friend
but when i turn to ask for help they have no time to lend

they try to play there part and they try to be a friend they just dont look deep enough down to see that there breaking my heart

If there's something that you want to do
that burns a fire inside of you
that floods your mind both night and day
don't give up on that dream, or throw it away
it matters not if you try and fail
still chart your course and start to sail
others may not understand
the dream you hold within your hands
they'll tell you that the sea is ruff
and that you don't have all the righ stuff
to make it across, and to survive
because they want your dream, like theirs to die
like all the other boats still at shore
that tried to sail, but now no more
don't give up on your dream
because if you do
you'll kill the real person inside of you
and like the other boats on the shore
your dream will die, and you'll sail no more
if you dream of love, fortune, or fame,
don't quit, stay in the game !
